Maserati Granturismo 2007> [4.2 V8 399 bhp | ECU Remap | Chiptuning ]

The Maserati Granturismo runs a Ferrari derived 4.2 V8 from the F136 family of engines. In the Granturismo the 4.2 V8 only comes coupled with an automatic gearbox with F1 paddle shift. The performance gains are solid all the way through the rev range making an additional 38lbft of torque and 40bhp throughout with 20bhp at peak. The engine itself will produce more power than this but the automatic gearbox is changing at the same point which is where peak power is produced, therefore if couple to a manual gearbox 35-40bhp at peak would be easily achievable.
